Ivan is a professional dancer specialising in Contemporary Ballet, Acrobatics and is a trained handstand teacher. In his varied career he has explored many stage disciplines such as Physical Theatre and Circus training. Ivan started his career as a dancer in Mexico City and later went on to specialize in acrobatics in Beijing China. He is now based in Switzerland dancing at the Opera Theater Basel and Performing in the three-border area (France Switzerland-Germany).
His career as a dancer, choreographer and acrobat, reflects multicultural experiences like sharing and learning as a form of adaptations. Being touched by the culture and the history of Cambodia he found the need to help and create this project "Cultural Encounter Circus in Cambodia”.This will contribute to the artistic evolution and will bring new ideas to the national circus troupe and a new approach to the public.
