Call for Applications
for 2027
The open call for 2027 will be published on 1 May 2026.
We are now using the application software SlideRoom. To access the application form, applicants must create an account with SlideRoom. SlideRoom complies with the requirements of the Swiss Data Protection Act, which means that users’ data is stored securely and is not used for advertising purposes. Furthermore, it is free of charge for our applicants.
One can apply in the fields of visual arts, literature, dance & performing arts, fashion & textile design and curation/art mediation/art critics. Applications are open to artists and cultural creators in selected areas as long as they demonstrably live or work within commuting distance from Atelier Mondial (the cantons of Basel-City, Basel-Country and Solothurn, South Baden up to Freiburg, and Alsace). Artist duos receive a grant in addition to the regular grant and are welcome to apply to the specially designated residency destinations.
