Mascha Unterlehberg, born in Mülheim an der Ruhr, studied literature and art history in Freiburg and Paris as well as literary writing in Leipzig and Biel. She has worked in theaters in Germany and Switzerland, was a finalist in the 27th open mike and a scholarship holder of the Klagenfurt Literature Course 2023. She has published prose and scenic texts in JENNY and Tippgemeinschaft, among others.

Her debut novel Wenn wir lächeln will be published by DuMont Buchverlag in spring 2025.
