Luke Wilkins
Luke Wilkins, born 1979 in Bern, lives in southern Germany and Switzerland. He studied at the Swiss Literature Institute and the Basel University of Music and writes novels and essays (for Manuskripte and the NZZ, among others). In his work, he deals with the metamorphic forces of language and the interactions between language, the world and the speaking/writing subject. He has received various work grants and residency fellowships, including from the Akademie Solitude (Stuttgart) in 2018/19 and the Fundaziun Nairs (Engadin) in 2020. In 2022, he co-curated a colloquium on Aby Warburg and Walter Benjamin ("Warburgs Passage") for the Fundaziun Nairs.
