Cinzia Campolese
Cinzia Campolese's work is focused on the ways in which the digital world communicates and cuts through the physical world and the consequent reactions and distortions that influence our relationship with reality and with one another.
Her approach is rooted in combining technologies with tangible representations, often employing a variety of surfaces and materials that make visible and augment digital intangibility.
Through a range of media including installations, generative compositions, web, videos, and prints, Campolese investigates the intersection of digital and physical space and its impact on our social and cultural interactions at various levels of perception. Her goal is to create works that are open to interpretation and do not follow a predetermined narrative path. Instead, she establishes a discourse based on shared clues that leads to self-reflection.Campolese's search for shared moments is primarily expressed through her investigation of space and perceptual reactions, which she translates into different visual aesthetics and plasticities, always with an outlook and a keen interest in new digital tools.
