The Dance of Death in Basel (Totentanz; painted on the inside wall of the cemetery near the Predigerkirche) reminds us that death takes everyone from life, regardless of their status. But is death truly equal for everyone? While genocide and war continue in parts of the world, there is also a worldview where people exercise their right to die by their own choice. In the capitalist world we live in, is death equal for all? The artist Rika Nakashima invites you to A Green Light Room, which explores these questions through narratives based on the dead bees they witnessed in their studio.
